Yesterday, we posted our official announcement that we will donate 10% of the profits associated with our ENDING 22 Collection to Mission 22, but we didn’t really go into much detail to define the “why” of our decision. This was intentional, as we wanted to dedicate a full blog post to this information. We feel this decision truly deserves a bit more recognition.
Who is Mission 22?
Mission 22 is a nonprofit organization that was created with the intent to help heal America’s veterans. With the tagline, “When their tour is over, our mission begins,” Mission 22 supports the veteran community via three main programs:
- Veteran Treatment Programs
- Memorials
- Community Social Impact
Through these programs, the organization serves combat veterans, service members who were injured in training and thus were deemed non-deployable, and victims of military sexual trauma (MST).
We absolutely encourage you to visit their website and read more about the organization itself, as well as the people behind it. From there, you can familiarize yourself with their various programs, their Ambassador program, read their blog, and even peruse their merchandise shop.
They are a passionate organization with an incredible mission, and we are very proud to announce our intent to support them with donations from the sales of our ENDING 22 Collection.
