Kevin Love Continues to be our Mental Health Hero

Kevin Love, the Cleveland Cavaliers power forward we've written about before, was recently presented with the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage at the ESPYs for his work to destigmatize mental health issues. Less than a day later, he committed $500,000 to UCLA's psychology department through his foundation. The donation was matched by a UCLA Centennial Term Chair Match, and "will create the Kevin Love Fund Centennial Chair in the psychology department, which will support the faculty's research into diagnosing, preventing, treating and destigmatizing anxiety and depression."
